  8. @oolibrice Hmmm... Well I can't tell. You don't have to care what I think just I like I don't have to care what you think. But, that doesn't stop me from saying what I want. If you really didn't care you wouldn't have replied back to me so many times, would you? :)))))

  9. @AnkhLady806 Clearly you really haven't realized I'm a very highly educated woman and I don't care what you think.

  10. @oolibrice I never said anything about "how to identify yourself". I said I respect your Haitian culture, but really we aren't so different after all. A lot of black people from the Caribbean take offense whenever someone says that, because they think it is an attempt to label them or put them in a box when it is not. We as black people need to get away from that and not hate each other for being different, but we need to embrace the fact that our people are everywhere.

  11. @oolibrice Clearly you don't know what the term "main point" means. It means what my statement was mostly about, but like I said, all is well with me. You have a nice day ma'am.

  12. @AnkhLady806 You point doesn't matter because its not a point really

  13. @AnkhLady806 I actually can name many differences between Haitians and African American. I know this much because I don't date outside my Nationality b/c of it. Yes we all African people but that doesn't mean anything. You can not tell people how to identify themselves.

  14. @oolibrice So I see you are ignoring the MAIN POINT of my statement, but you know what? All is well over here! I can barely even understand what you are trying to type, so on that note...you have a nice day ma'am, and Jah Bless.

  15. @oolibrice Ok, let me re-phrase that. You wouldn't know that I was a U.S. citizen if you seen me in Haiti today. That is what JayLove was talking about. Some blacks from the Caribbean Islands feel that it is a threat to be the same as a black from the U.S. We as black people EVERYWHERE need to get over this tribal hate we have for each other. You are Haitian, and I RESPECT that you have your own culture just like many blacks do, but none the less we are all black, and not so different after all.

  16. I@AnkhLady806 Lol Haitians are American what u talking about. Mexicans are to. Learn what is an American please. And there is big difference between Caribbean American and black US Americas

  17. @AnkhLady806 Lol. No comment for u to easy. Read the Haiti consultation and get back. Then see if u can become Haitians citizen

  18. @oolibrice Yes it is true that you have your own culture, and I love that black people in Jamaica, Haiti etc., could break away from the bonds of slavery, and build a place of your own. But, like you said Blacks are the MAJORITY in your country, not to discredit your accomplishments or anything, but of course you should have been able to make a place of your own. In the end there's no difference between us. If I was in Haiti and you saw me on the street you probably wouldn't know I was American.

  19. @oolibrice Like I said if you are "proud from jump" why are you concerned with what he said? Usually when someone asks "what are you" they mean what is your RACE. Someone who looks like me or you wouldn't get that question a lot, because clearly we are black. Someone who would get that question would most likely appear to be mixed. And, if they answer with "I am Haitian" they sound stupid, because "Haitian" is a NATIONALITY not an ETHNICITY. And, yes if I became a citizen I would be Haitian too!

  20. @AnkhLady806 U cant move to Haiti and become Haitian. Thats not part of our laws in Haiti. U have to be born in Haiti to be thought of as being Haiti or mother and father is Haitian. Lol there are many White Haitians. The difference between blacks USA Americans and Caribbean Americans is that we have made a life of our own in the country we came from. We do not make our race our forefront because we were proud black from jump we didn't have to learn that. We are the majority in our countries.

  21. Wow! I feel you what you mention it. All I can say is black people live all over but they're difference and they're still beautiful anyway. Be proud who you are and I'm not here to judge or criticize on their nationalities because that's them. I love cultures such as dance, food, clothes, languages and music. Like I said before in other days ago I posted other comments that I'm proud of native American descent and African descent. Be proud who you are

  22. I watched the video that you're talking about, and I don't think he was talking about all Jamaicans, Haitians, Dominicans, etc. He was just speaking of those who deny that they are black when they clearly are. So quite frankly, if it doesn't apply to you then why are worried about what he said? You got the message all wrong. It was about people who see their NATIONALITY as an ETHNICITY when clearly they aren't the same thing. A white man could move to Haiti, and become Haitian. Understand?
